Dale Mills

Dale has over 30 years of IT and business management experience providing leadership in governance, information technology, human resources, financial operations, e-business and senior management in the public and private sector.

Technically savvy with solid financial and operational acumen, Dale is able to communicate effectively with boards, business and IT groups and is comfortable dealing with all levels of the organization. He has successfully managed projects of a multi-disciplinary nature with enterprise-wide impact in healthcare, education, financial services, and government.

With his outstanding leadership abilities, Dale is able to coordinate and direct all phases of IT governance-based efforts while motivating organizations.  He is adept at developing effective practical IT oversight for organizations.

Dale Mills is a CIO professional with senior executive roles within large, complex organizations, relying on business approaches that leverage technology. He is solutions-oriented with notable success directing a broad range of corporate initiatives while participating in planning and implementation of technology solutions in direct support of business objectives. Particularly adept at change management in pursuit of operational excellence, he can improve your company’s performance. He has successfully managed numerous business and information technology projects in the public and private sectors. He is uniquely positioned to help clients bridge the divide between business demands and IT solutions.

Dale has a passion for transitioning the paradigm shift in IT from a technology provider to one of enabling and optimizing business process. New cloud services are changing IT at record pace, and he wants to help lead the shift.

As a seasoned project manager, he can deliver both business and IT-related projects on time, on budget and on schedule as well as assist you in setting up a PMO and/or PPM governance.

As a graduate of the Rotman College/ICD program he is a certified corporate director (ICD.D). 

Dale has a passion for the outdoors.  From skiing to the North Pole to climbing the highest mountain in the western hemisphere - Mount Aconcagua at 23,000 feet, he has completed over a dozen adventures, mostly north of 60 degrees latitude.  He integrates these experiences into his leadership workshops.  Entertaining and relevant!
